Simple Version: Cronologix stores your workflow data locally on your device. We don't collect or sell your personal data. Your workflows stay on your phone unless you choose to sync them via Google Drive (Pro feature).
1. Introduction
Cronologix ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cronologix mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App on iOS and Android devices.
This Privacy Policy complies with:
- Apple App Store Guidelines (Section 5.1)
- Google Play Developer Program Policies (User Data Policy)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU/EEA users
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Data Collected and Stored Locally (On-Device Only)
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

We do not have access to this data. It remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to use cloud sync features.

Google Drive Sync (Pro Feature - Optional)
- If you enable cloud sync, your workflow data is stored in your personal Google Drive account
- We use Google's OAuth 2.0 for authentication
- We do not store your Google credentials
- Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- You can revoke access anytime via Google Account settings
Push Notifications (Optional)
- If you enable notifications, we use platform-native notification services (Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- We do not collect or store notification tokens on our servers
2.3 Data We DO NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

We use the locally stored information solely to:
- Provide core App functionality (creating and running workflows)
- Save your preferences and settings
- Display your workflow history
- Deliver notifications you have opted into
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Share your data with data brokers
- Profile you for marketing purposes

Current Implementation: The App does not currently include third-party analytics SDKs.

The App uses the following SDKs that may process data according to their privacy policies:
- Expo SDK: App framework (Expo Privacy)

5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Local Storage Security
- Data is stored using platform-native secure storage (iOS Keychain/Android Keystore where applicable)
- AsyncStorage is used for non-sensitive preferences
- Data is sandboxed and inaccessible to other apps
5.2 Data in Transit
- All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Google Drive sync uses OAuth 2.0 secure authentication

6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 All Users
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your data within the App
- Delete: Delete individual workflows or all data
- Export: (Future feature) Export your workflow data
- Opt-out: Disable notifications, sound, and optional features in Settings
- Revoke Consent: Uninstall the App to remove all local data
6.2 Account Deletion (Google Play Requirement)
The App does not require account creation. If you use Google Drive sync:
- You can disconnect Google Drive in Settings
- Your data in Google Drive remains under your control
- You can delete it from your Google Drive at any time
6.3 EU/EEA Users (GDPR Rights)
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Legal Basis for Processing: Legitimate interest (providing app functionality) and consent (for optional features like cloud sync).
6.4 California Users (CCPA Rights)
Under CCPA, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected
- Know if personal information is sold or disclosed
- Say no to the sale of personal information (We do not sell data)
- Access your personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Equal service and price (non-discrimination)

7. Children's Privacy
The App is rated for general audiences but is not specifically designed for children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
How we notify you:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top
- Post a notice within the App for material changes
- Require acknowledgment for significant changes
